Calling all runners who want some fun and adventure! Come join the Coral Bay Run, set on the beautiful island of Pangkor, Perak. Just an hour plus drive from Ipoh and a short boat ride across lovely waters and you are on this island paradise, where the delightful Coral Bay Resort awaits. This 13km run will appeal to people of all ages and fitness levels, from novice runners to veterans, as it will take you on a magical trail through seriously gorgeous scenery.
Imagine sea breeze, blue skies, coconut trees and sandy white beaches. The Coral Bay Run has it all!

LETTER FROM KELAB ROADRUNNERS 2015

Dear Fellow Members,
Welcome 2015 and a Happy New Year to all members! It seems not so long ago that we were a bunch of newbies who gathered every evening for a fun run in the Polo Ground. Now 27 years on, we are a full-fledged club of old runners fondly known as the KRI. If good health attend to us, jia yu!
In a month and half’s time we will be celebrating the lunar new year of the Goat. May all good things happen to you and we hope to see more members at KRI Ang Pow Run.
In the year 2014, we continued with our popular events, viz. the Off-Road Dualthlon and the 21K Annual Run. Both of these events which were held in the Haven Lakeside Residences scored remarkable successes. This spurred us on to organize another Youth Dualthlon for youngsters at the Kinta Riverfront last month.
After managing quite successfully a cycling event in Padang Rengas this year, we are much encouraged to take up the management of running and cycling events in the 2015. We are in the midst of negotiating with a corporate body to organize a run event in Pangkor Island. If this deal comes through, we should be seeing some cash rewards coming into KRI’s kitty. On a smaller scale, we are managing 2 events for the Perak Parkinson Association in April and a cycling event for Tourism Perak, Malaysia in Padang Rengas.
2015 subscriptions are also due from you and can be made payable to Thomas Ang, PK Yeap, KP Phan during the KRI Relay Run in Meru Desa Park or during the CNY Ang Pow Run.
